We don't get around to that every day, but on weeknights I love sitting down and do a little activity with LP. Sometimes we play an easy board or memory game all together with M, sometimes we do puzzles... I love puzzles especially. I have the greatest childhood memories of us all sitting at the table, working at a large puzzle that could sometimes take us weeks to complete. I can't wait to do that with my family too...
Obviously we don't have much time, so it needs to be quick and easy, with little prep involved. So as per the suggestion of a mommy blogger who tried this with great success with her 3 year-old girls, yesterday I told him we would do découpage. Nothing fancy really, just clipping images from magazines and sticking them onto construction paper. At first I thought only LP would be doing one, and I would cut the images for him, but it turns out, he needed no help. I do it, no help mommy! He said he would do one for me, and I needed to do one too, so I could give it to daddy.
