So a little while ago I wrote a third post for A Practical Wedding, after Meg asked if people who self-catered their weddings would be interested in helping others who were thinking about it but were a little scared. When I sent it over, she told me she would get to it *at some point*, and really that was fine with me because there was no rush and I knew she was totally swamped with the new design and tagging of her site, which by the way, is really fabulous.
Then, by some sort of Murphy's Law theorem, at about the same time I decided to stop looking at my blog stats every day, because it was often getting me a little discouraged. I told myself I would try to look at it just every once in a while, and that would provide more of a big picture and better perspective.
So what do you know, the minute I did for the first time in a few weeks, I notice a very unusual peek last Friday, and thought something must be up! Of course, Meg posted my little self-catering story that day and I didn't even know... Silly, silly me.
Once again, the comments were so nice and heart-warming... So better late than never, it's a week later but please go visit! Although you better not if you're really hungry (as I am right now).
(Here's also my graduate post from last June, and here's my mom-and-wife post from last December.)
