My Eye Studio look

Here is how I created my look with the Maybelline Eye Studio products I received. I used the "Spirited Seas" palette (below), which is a lot less matte and a lot more dramatic in person, the "Bronze Blowout" eye shadow duo, the eyeliner in brown and the "XXL Pro Extensions" lengthening mascara in black. I included photos of nearly every step.

I started off with a simple, natural-looking base: foundation, concealer, a little pressed powder, and just a hint of blush.

I first applied the beige shadow to both the lower and upper lids, with a heavy hand so the first layer would be really shiny.

Then, I applied the darkest of the two blues to the external half of the lower lids, stopping just above the crease.

The next step was to apply the copper to the inner corners of the lower lids up until above the crease as well, leaving a "blank" space between that color and the blue. Since I naturally tend to have dark circles, I made sure to stop before my skin is darkest. I then used just a bit of "Bronze Blowout" eyeshadow, which is actually more of a pale yellowy neutral (my skin has yellow undertones), to blend in the copper in the inner corners and to brighten the skin.

Then, I applied the light blue in the space left between the darker blue and the copper, so to have a succession of three eye shadow colors.

I applied the gel eyeliner in a large line, which was a little bit tricky... But I managed all right.

I applied a little bit of the copper eyeshadow right under my eyes, to make them pop. But with my dark circles, I didn't want so much as to make me appear more tired -subtle is what I was looking for.

I then applied two coats of mascara. I used just a little bit for my lower lids, since I have long but scarce hair, as to avoid the "Clockwork Orange" effect.

The last step was to slightly correct the application of the different shadows, and to blend in a little "Bronze Blowout" at the external corners of my eyes as well.

Here is the final result:

(Yes, I'm growing my hair back to its natural color. And no, I'm not wearing lipstick. Even though I looove makeup I'm just not a lipstick kind of gal.)

Very pretty!
I'm always afraid to wear blue eyeshadow because I'm afraid it'll look too eighties. But you pulled it off really well!! I love the shimmery gold.
