I miss Italy. So. Friggin. Much.
(Part 1, when we had just gotten back, here.)

Everyone was doing that same silly picture, so why not us? Except, see, we're *pushing* the tower, not holding it. Yep, we're clever like that. The tower is beautiful by the way, all made of marble, dainty, and really richly decorated. Everything around, however, is an awful tourist trap.

Yay for Italy! :) Is the picture with McDonalds in the background, in Milan, right by the train station? Just curious because I only briefly stopped in Milan between trains from one place to another and we ate at a McDonalds right by the station since we had no time. So taht is the only thing I remember from my brief stop in Milan in 1997. Haha.
And I know LP must have LOVED the Ferrari factory! :)
You, the health-conscious vegetarian, ate at McDonald's??? You never fail to surprise me! :-D
I don't think so, it was rather near the Vittorio-Emanuele plaza...
Haha, I wasn't an "almost-vegetarian" in 1997. :) I have also been to lots of McDonald'S in Rome. We discovered that if you bought an ice-cream for less than a dollar, you could use their toilets for free. SO....we did that all the time to at least get something out of it when you had to pay to use the restroom. :) We were broke and young...
Oh, Italy. You're making me jealous of your recent trip. ;) I have a similar photo of Florence and the Duomo. I want to go back so bad!
Oh I have chills! I miss Italy too! I've been thinking about it so much these past few days. It's a country that stays in your heart forever. Your photos captured it perfectly :)
With these photos you are KILLING me.
Must. Travel. Now.
Also, how adorable is LP?!
Ahhhh... we did Positano. We could not have loved it more, and we're definitly going to go back.
I got yelled at by one of those Swiss Guards for taking their picture. "No foto! No foto!" he yelled, running at me. Seriously. I thought he was going to spear me!
