It's because baby shoes are Too. Damn. Cute. I don't even *have* a baby and I walk around shoe shops going "look at de liddle baybee trainers!!". I actually think that is a totally reasonable amount of shoes for a girl who can't even walk yet...
I fear for my future children. They'll probably have a different pair of shoes for every day of the year, with my penchant for buying them...they're just so hard to resist, and in baby size, even more so!
But who could pass up the opportunity for such cute shoes!
